Question Tuesday: Favorite Bible Translation

No, this is not from my house. (Almost could be, though.)

Every Tuesday we gather here at Speak What We Feel to discusses questions of life and faith, to grow together and sharpen our perspectives. Today’s question:

Which translations are your favorite? Why?

What about study Bibles? Have a preference?

Working your way through any one in particular right now?

Hey you! I really appreciate the ESV and new (2011) NIV for accuracy in translation. I also appreciate the NLT for its clear voice. My favorite study bible is the ESV study bible. Every question I have it seems to anticipate in the study notes, and there’s a really interesting series of articles at the back. 🙂
